Shalom intercessors and friends of Israel,
Dor Haba Camp
This month we had the privilege to participate serving
at the Dor Haba Camp.
It took place at Yad HaShmonah Country Hotel, a
beautiful place at the hills around Jerusalem.
There were around a 100 young Jews and Arabs from 13
to 18 years old that came to learn more about Worship.
They had instruments lessons, heard powerful messages
and experienced times of worshiping God in Arabic, Hebrew and English.
There were teachers from Succat Hallel and IHOP Kansas
City.
Thank you for your prayers. Each of you made this
Worship Camp happen!
A new generation of Israelis
While praying for the youth, the Lord showed us the
passage of 1 Samuel 14, on which we see the difference between father and son,
Saul and Jonathan.
Jonathan acts with boldness, moving against the Philistines.
He shows his faith as he says to the young man who bore his armor:
“...come, let
us go over to the garrison of these uncircumcised; it may be that the Lord will
work or us. For nothing restrains the Lord from saving by many or by few.” 1 Sm
14.6
Ahead on the text we see that Saul places the soldiers
under oath, forbidding them of eating until he had taken revenge of the Philistines.
Jonathan not knowing about the oath finds honey and
eats it. He says:
“…my father has troubled the land. Look now, how my
countenance has brightened because I tasted a little of this honey. How much
better if the people had eaten freely today of the spoil of their enemies which
they found! For now would there not have been a much greater slaughter among
the Philistines?” 1 Sm 14.29,30.
The Lord showed us the difference between the hearts
of the two generations.
As Saul does not have a heart inclined to God he had “troubled
the land”, as his son said, however the new generation that has a heart
inclined to God will eat of the best of the land, will destroy the enemy and
have the spoil.
If we think about the leaders that have ruled Israel during
the last years, we see the same character of Saul, men that feared men, made
covenant with the enemy, failing in stripping them and loosing territory.
We believe we are in a new season when there is a new
generation rising in the society to conquer in the Spirit through worship as
well as in the government, to reign with the heavenly wisdom.

the Lord’s voice calling and saying

go up into the mountain of the Lord. We will stand in His holy place.

hachatan. Ve nachzik ma-amad.
We will
fast until the bridegroom comes. We will
persevere to the end.

hear the voice of the Lord calling and saying…

During the days 2nd to 12th of July, in Poland, the UNESCO
will once more vote on two anti-Israel resolutions.
Jordan submitted a resolution on Jerusalem on Monday
26th that calls to rescind “all legislative and administrative measures and
actions taken by Israel, “the occupying Power, which have altered or purport to
alter the character and status of the Holy City of Jerusalem”.
Hebron’s Old City, including the Tomb of the
Patriarchs is one of the 35 sites the World Heritage Committee plans to
consider for inscription on the World Heritage in Danger list when it meets in
Krakow, Poland, next Friday (07).
When we read the Word we see that these provocations
are not new. On the book of Nehemiah , when the Jews were rebuilding the walls of the City, Sanballat
the Horonite, Tobiah the Ammonite, and Geshem the Arab laughed and despised
their work. So Nehemiah answered them and we declare the same:
“…The God of Heaven Himself will prosper us, therefore
we, his servants will ARISE and BUILD; BUT YOU HAVE NO HERITAGE OR RIGHT OR MEMORIAL
IN JERUSALEM.”
